Dans Charade

Audrey Hepburn est mon modèle. Le premier film que j'ai vu dans lequel elle jouait est Charade. J'ai encore l'image de son manteau rouge, son bonnet léopard et ses valises Louis Vuitton. Je l'ai tout de suite trouvé sublime, je n'avais jamais vu quelqu'un avec autant de style et d'élégance, et j'ai donc voulu en savoir plus sur elle. Maintenant je suis une vraie fan.

Dans Breakfast at Tiffany's

Audrey était très amie avec Hubert de Givenchy pour qui elle a posé. Je pense que tout le monde ici connait la fameuse robe noire qu'elle a porté pour le tournage de Breakfast at Tiffany's. Certains rôles ont conforté son statut d'icone de la mode, comme dans Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady, Funny Face…

Dans Sabrina

Audrey est encore aujourd'hui considérée comme une icone, voir L'Icone, du style. Je me suis souvent inspirés des tenues qu'elle portait dans certain films, et dans la vie réelle, même si je sais que je ne l'égalerais jamais. En tout cas je voudrais la remercier de m'avoir appris tant de choses sur le monde de la mode et pleins d'autres sujets. Audrey Hepburn sera toujours pour moi la femme parfaite.

PFW: Viktor & Rolf Couture Fall Winter 2015/2016 - "Wearable Art"

This wednesday Viktor and Rolf presented their latest Haute Couture collection in Paris they named "Wearable Art". If you don't know it yet, the two designers revealed they would follow the steps of Jean Paul Gaultier by only focusing on Haute Couture. This show truly showed how fashion is a full art - wearable art to use their own words. While a lot of people question the true meaning of Couture, defining it as a bunch of expensive clothes you will never wear, Viktor and Rolf got things straight: fashion should not be considered only as a way to look good and following trends is boring - even though it is kind of important since it portrays a certain generation. Fashion should be considered as art on the same level as painting, architecture, poetry, music... If you are going to spend tons of money on a painting, why not on an outfit ?
